Will you tell anyone else what I say?
We will not pass what you have told us onto anyone else. However, there are a few special circumstances when we might have to speak to another person or authority who can provide more immediate care and support to you, as follows;
1. If we are concerned about you not being able to be keep yourself safe. For example if you are regulary hurting yourself or if you let us know you are feeling suicdal.
2. If you or someone else is at risk of serious harm through abuse or not being looked after properly.
The counsellor will "try" to talk to you about this first and explain what to expect. If you need any more information about this please feel free to ask Frankie as we are happy to help you to understand things fully before you start your counselling.
